Educating the Children of Those Who Sacrificed All
Our Mission
To encourage the spiritual, moral, intellectual and physical development of children through education. Formed in February 1995 by former Marines and law enforcement personnel, we strongly believe that our Nation’s most precious resource is its youth.
Our Story
MC-LEF provides scholarships to the children of fallen United States Marines and Federal Law Enforcement Officers (FLEO).
Since 1995, the Foundation has provided over $90,000,000 in assistance and support to the families of our nation’s fallen heroes. Arizona families have been the beneficiaries of much of this support prior to the start of our Arizona Chapter in 2004. Since 2004, the Foundation has provided over $1,900,000 in support to Arizona children and families of our fallen heroes.
Although MC-LEF is immensely proud of our work to date, there is still much to be done. For more information on the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation please visit our national website at www.mc-lef.org to find out more about our history and events held nationally in support of our mission.
We invite you to join us as a sponsor, donor, or participant at one of our upcoming Arizona events, just check out the events page of this website for information on local Arizona events coming soon. Our 18th annual golf event has been scheduled on June 9, 2023 at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ.
Through your support of our mission and the families of our heroes you will be richly rewarded by knowing that you are making a difference in the lives of someone who has sacrificed so much for our country and if possible, we invite you to join us at one of our events and meet the families and children we serve.
MC-LEF is an approved IRS 501(c)3 organization that has been recognized for our excellence and efficiency by the Independent Charities of America. With only one paid employee, working only part-time, and a full network of over 65 volunteers, all donations to MC-LEF go directly to fund our mission.
Meet Riley
Meet Riley. Her father passed away in Iraq when she was one years old. We know how proud he would be of her - just watch her video below and you will see why! She was one of the first recipients of a scholarship from the foundation when our Arizona Chapter started in 2004. Join us on June 9, 2023 for our 18th annual golf tournament hosted this year at the Grayhawk Golf Club. It will be a great day to help raise tuition money for the kids of our fallen heroes just like Riley.
